| I am an Artist. Every other label I attach to myself or others attach to me are mere sub-categorizations of that overarching and most important distinction. I am an Artist. The world and what we call “reality” is a subjective and ever changing truth, not an objective fact. Every experience in our life, every thought we have ever had, and every belief we cling to changes the world we perceive around us. My art speaks to the world I see. Some of it is beautiful and strange, some of it is internal and personal, some is external and frightening. I refuse to limit myself to a medium, to a style, to a type, or a genre in the interest of branding or business or expectation. My works are me and that is all the genre I need or want. My work is ever evolving as am I. My art is limited only by the inspiration the world provides through all disciplines, that is to say limitless. My Art is limitless. I am an Artist. |
